Computer Centre has a number of High Performance Computing (HPC) Clusters, state of the art servers, high end Linux Lab and Windows Lab and various advanced application software.

Computer Centre supports an institute wide 1000 Mbps fiber Optic Network that connects all the academic departments, hostels, library and other central facilities to the Computer Centre and also Gigabit network in the residential areas. Internet access is provided through a 1 Gbps dedicated Internet link.

Users can use the computing resources of the institute from their residences and hostels also through ADSL or through the wired Gigabit LAN connectivity provided there or through the Wireless Access Points.

Computer Centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days an year. It has a power back up through four 300 KVA UPS and three 500 KVA Diesel Generator set. Air conditioning is provided by the central air conditioning plant and split air conditioners.
