Under the newly founded International Center for Theoretical Studies (ICTS) at TIFR (http://www.icts.res.in), a school titled "Understanding Molecular Simulations: Theory and Applications"(UMS-2010) was organized from November 3-13, 2010 at IIT Kanpur.

The details of the school can be found on UMS-2010 website. Over 90 participants including 75 attendeed and 15 speakers participated in the 10 day school. The school consisted of lectures, tutorials and hands-on training sessions conducted by experts in the field of molecular simulations.
