Discussion Sessions and B2B meetings of “India – Central Provinces of Vietnam Business and Investment Summit”. The Indian Chamber of Commerce, the key collaborator for the event under the aegis of Consulate General of India at Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India mobilised the participation for the event. The event focussed on promotion of trade, investment, cooperation in the fields of education, healthcare and IT. On Education front the discussion centred on the areas of collaboration between Universities of India and Vietnam so as to initiate and promote student and faculty exchange. The summit also aimed at increasing the presence of Indian Universities in Vietnam.
Prof. Dhirendra S. Katti, Dean of International Relations, IIT Kanpur presented his views on the higher Education sector in India, especially the role of Indian Institute of Technology and its Importance and impact on technological advancements and areas of research in the country. He also emphasised on the courses offered by IIT Kanpur, it’s collaboration with various foreign universities and the research centres available on campus.
