The Office of International Relations (OIR) at IIT Kanpur extended a gracious welcome on September 24, 2023, to newly admitted international students embarking on their academic journey in the 2023-24 Semester I session. Professor Dhirendra S. Katti, the Dean of International Relations, set the tone with a warm reception, offering a comprehensive overview of IIT Kanpur's academic excellence and the enriching campus life that awaits.

In addition to all the international students at IIT Kanpur, student members of the Academic Council, including four managers and seventeen secretaries, were also present on the occasion. The Academic & Career Council, in its presentation, comprehensively detailed campus life, encompassing academics, a myriad of student clubs, and personal development opportunities.
