On March 21st, 2024, La Trobe University, led by Prof. Theo Farrell, Vice Chancellor (seen receiving a memento from the IITK delegates), hosted a Round Table meeting with all the Asian Smart Cities Research Innovation Network (ASCRIN) partners (IIT Kanpur, BITS Pilani and TISS Mumbai).

IIT Kanpur was represented by Prof. Dhirendra S. Katti, Dean of International Relations, along with Prof. Ashok kumar Director, IITK-LaTrobe University Research Academy (IITK-LTU RA) and Prof. Raju Gupta Academic Program Director, IITK-LTU RA.
