The meDAQ portable data acquisition system from Hi-Techniques combines high performance 16-bit digitizers with signal conditioning and filtering. It can be configured upto 16 high performance channels per compact mainframe, with upto 500 distributed channels hardware-synchronized and controlled from one computer via Ethernet connection. Simultaneous sampling on all channels is available at speeds upto 50 MSps. Upto 128 MS memories are available to capture even the most elusive event. Continuous streaming to internal disk or flash drives is available at 100 kSps on all channels.
The meDAQ is a completely distributed Ethernet system. Any computer on the network can display and analyze streaming data in real-time. For remote applications, meDAQ can be armed for trigger and disconnected from the controlling PC, wait for, collect, and hold data until the PC connection has been re-established to download the data. For quick identification of interesting signal anomalies, user-defined tags and a thumbnail images are saved with the raw data. The Windows based acquisition and control software supports more than 150 analysis functions. Functions can be combined with logical branch events using the simple to use macro programming language.
