XXVIII THEP SERC SCHOOL, IIT KANPUR

The Department of Physics, IIT Kanpur, will organize the XXVIII SERC Main School on Theoretical High
Energy Physics from November 11th to 30th, 2013. The topics to be covered in the School, and the lecturers, are

Introduction to Supersymmetry by Romesh Kaul (IMSc, Chennai).
Electroweak Symmetry Breaking by Rohini Godbole (IISc, Bangalore).
Applied Supersymmetry by Biswarup Mukhopadhyaya (HRI, Allahabad).
The AdS/CFT Correspondence and Applications, by Rajesh Gopakumar (HRI, Allahabad).

Participation in the School is by invitation only. Applicants should arrange for two letters of recommendation, to be sent directly. All correspondence is preferably done over email. Please send emails only to the official email address for the School : thepserc@gmail.com

The last date for receiving completed applications is 30th June, 2013. Selected candidates will be informed by 10th July,
and are expected to confirm their participation by 17th July, 2013.

Participants in the School are expected to be at IITK for the entire duration of the School. Boarding and lodging will be provided,
along with 3 A/C train fare between Kanpur and the participants' official place of work.
