Guidelines for Using MSE Software Workstation
The workstation is placed in FB411 and can be used by everyone in MSE department.
- The system can be used between 9 AM - 5 PM by booking the slots online. Link to book the slots is: click here
- Data can be brought in CD/DVD. One can also use internet (dropbox/email/google drive) or formatted external USB drive (scan of the USB drive will be required before it can be used).
- If needed, data can be saved in the hard dive of the system by creating a folder. However, data will be deleted at the beginning of every semester. Please ensure that data have been taken from the system before new semester begins.
- The last user on a particular day must shut down the system before leaving.
The system will be managed by Mr. Govind. He may be reached at govindb@iitk.ac.in. If needed, training will be provided for the software. Please send an email to Mr. Govind with a copy to the Faculty coordinator of website content management (Dr. Sudhanshu Shekhar Singh: sudhanss@iitk.ac.in) for training.
