Applications are invited for two posts of Project Technician in a MHRD sponsored project titled, “Virtual Lab Phase III” in the Department of Materials Sciences & Engineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: (BSc + 4 years of relevant experience) OR (3 Years Engg. Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) OR (High School + ITI + 9 years of relevant experience)

Work Experience:

Should have experience of working in laboratory/ research environment. Should be able to handle paper filing, accounting, and procedures for ordering/purchase. Should be versed in adjusting to running around jobs, fixing items, following up with purchase, repair, etc.

Person should be aware of Lab safety norms and maintaining equipment usage records.

Desirable: Exposure to materials science and engineering related equipment will be preferred.

Salary Range: Rs. 14400 - 1200 - 36000.
