Applications are invited for the post of 'Project Technician' at Smart Materials Structures and Systems laboratory (SMSS), Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur. The duration of the appointment will be initially for a period of one year which may be extended depending upon the performance. The appointment is purely temporary and on contractual basis.

Name of the Post: Project Technician (One)

Salary: (14400-1200-36000)

Minimum Qualification: 3 Years Engineering Diploma (Electronics/Electrical) + 04 years of relevant experience

Desirable Skillset:

Experience of PCB design and fabrication
Experience in integration, testing and calibration of sensors like IR photodiode, piezoelectric force sensor and ultrasonic rangefinders.
ESP communication modules
Circuit testing and debugging
Hands on with Motor controllers (DC, Stepper, Servo)
Experience working with Arduino and Raspberry PI
