Applications are invited for one position of 'Senior Project Mechanic' in the salary range of Rs. 10800-900-27000 in the sponsored research project "EMI/EMC And Electrical Safety Testing Facility, IIT Kanpur". This post is purely temporary for a period of one year, which may be extended until the end of the project as per institute norm. Appointment may be terminated at any time depending on the requirement of this project and performance of the candidate.

Educational Minimum Qualifications:

3 years Engg. Diploma (Electrical/Electronics Engineering) /High school + ITI (Electrical/Electronics Engineering) +05 years of relevant experience

Requirement & Necessary Skills:

• Experience of antenna measurement in the anechoic chamber;
• Familiarity with various RF connectors, cables, different types of RF antennas etc.;
• Capable of handling microwave equipment(s) such as the Vector Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal Generator etc.

The post is purely temporary and can be extended on the basis of performance of the candidate as per institute rule. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates called for the interview. The short listing will be done strictly on the basis of qualification and relevant experience. The candidates without relevant experience will not be called for interview.
