Eligibility Criteria:
Sr Project Executive Officer:
Desirable:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in river science, hydrology, environmental research, or related fields.
- Proven track record in scientific report writing, policy documentation, and research publications.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary research projects, preferably in river basin studies, water resource management, or ecosystem monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of river health monitoring, hydrological modeling, and water quality assessment.
- Familiarity with GIS, remote sensing, and data analysis tools for river studies.
- Understanding of environmental regulations, policies, and frameworks related to river conservation and management.
- Experience in writing high-quality scientific reports, research papers, and policy briefs.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical data into clear and concise reports for stakeholders.
- Proficiency in technical editing, formatting, and referencing styles (APA, IEEE, etc.).
- Strong project coordination abilities, with experience in team management and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to collaborate with government agencies, research institutions, and international organizations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for knowledge dissemination.
- Experience working in large-scale environmental projects or government-funded initiatives.
- Knowledge of climate change impacts on river systems and sustainable water management strategies.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced research environment.
Sr Project Scientist:
Desirable:
- Hands-on experience in wastewater treatment, biofiltration, bioremediation, or bioenergy production.
- Experience working on government-funded, industrial, or academic research projects related to environmental sustainability.
- Strong knowledge of microbial degradation, bioprocessing, and enzyme-based pollution control.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (PCR, sequencing, metagenomics) for environmental analysis.
- Experience in designing and optimizing biotechnological processes for environmental applications.
- Proven track record of research publications, patents, and technical report writing.
- Ability to analyze complex environmental data and translate findings into scientific reports.
- Experience in preparing project proposals, grant applications, and regulatory documentation.
- Experience in leading research teams, supervising projects, and collaborating with industry partners.
- Ability to coordinate with environmental agencies, regulatory bodies, and funding organizations.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and knowledge dissemination.
Sr Project Manager:
Desirable:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in project management, preferably in research, academia, or corporate sectors.
- Experience in handling large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Prior experience in budgeting, procurement, and resource management.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Asana, etc.).
- Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and compliance.
- Familiarity with government funding procedures and grant management.
- Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in research institutions or government projects.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors.
Project Engineer:
Desirable:
- 2-5 years of experience in website design, front-end/back-end development, and software programming.
- Experience in developing interactive, scalable, and responsive web applications.
- Prior work on research-based, academic, or enterprise projects is an advantage.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern UI frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS).
- Proficiency in Adobe XD, Figma, or other UI/UX design tools.
- Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile-friendly web design.
- Front-End: React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
- Back-End: Node.js, Django, Flask, Laravel, or Express.js.
- Database Management: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase).
- APIs & Web Services: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for hosting web applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills for optimizing web applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and implement security best practices.
Project Associate:
Desirable:
Having experience in conducting field surveys for hydrological modelling, preparing daily task reports, presentations. Experience in research lab work related to Botany and/ or Zoology. Essential Skillset: A basic understanding of field surveys for river monitoring and taxonomic identification of collected samples. . Desired Skillset: Candidates with a background in fish and fisheries with knowledge of macroinvertebrates will be preferred.
