Applications are invited for the posts mentioned below in the Visitors’ Hostel & Allied facilities at IIT Kanpur.

Name of the Post: Project Engineer

Number of Posts: One

Essential post qualification experience: M. Tech. Or B. Tech. with MBA Or B. Tech. + 3 years relevant experience of Electrical works in a govt. office or in educational institute or in business organization of repute.

Desirable: The candidate should be B. Tech in Electrical Eng & have knowledge of handling of major building projects experience in a govt. office or in educational institute or in business organization of repute.

Scale of pay: Rs. 26400-2200-66000(Consolidated).

Note:

1. Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a maximum period of 6months or date of expiry of the project whichever is earlier.
2. Candidates who have significant experience and expertise in the relevant area shall be given preference.
3. No TA/DA will be paid by for attending the written test/interview.

Visitors’ Hostel office reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualification and experience. Only short-listed candidates will accordingly be called for interview.

The candidates, who will be called for interview, must show their original certificates, experience certificates etc. at the time of interview.
