Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Project Manager. The project involves improving industry-academia interactions, and catalyzing innovation ecosystem in IIT Kanpur. The appointment is purely contractual, and duration of contract is one year or till the end of the Project, whichever is earlier. Renewal of appointment on these positions is subject to satisfactory performance.

Salary Range: 19200-1600-48000

Essential Qualification: CA/ICWA/CS or Post-graduate (MBA/ MCA/ M.Com/ MSc/ MA) + 5 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Skills: Relevant industry experience in handling accounts and finance of an organization; Handling GST filing, Taxation and Returns; Good Communication Skills; MS office (word and excel); Working knowledge of Tally software

Job Profile

1. Overseeing finances and accounts of the project.
2. Maintaining financial records and project bills.
3. Plan the tax liabilities, manage the tax matters, file returns, and settle the tax liabilities under various laws.
4. Various tax planning advice, investments etc services can be provided by accountants.
5. Handling GST, TDS and other tax related activities.
6. Any other responsibility assigned by PI.
