Applications are invited for the position of a Project Associate to work with the National Academic Depository (NAD) Cell of IIT Kanpur at the Office of DOAA (Dean, Academic Affairs). The post is temporary, and the appointment will be on a contractual basis for one year. The period may be further extended based on performance and requirement.

Essential Qualification(s): B.Tech. or M.Sc. or B.Sc.+ MCA

Desirable Qualifications/ Experience:

Candidate must be:

1. Experience: (B.Tech.+ 1-year relevant experience.) or (M.Sc. + 1-year relevant experience.) or (B.Sc./BCA+MCA+1-year relevant exp).
2. Experience in software development using JAVA PHP / Oracle / MySQL / other database management systems
3. Adept in large data handling and archiving.
4. Efficient in the handling of Windows Microsoft Office tools, which may include: Typing 45-50 words per minute, Mail Merge in Word processing, Handling spreadsheets, preparing reports and presentations and PowerPoint presentations
5. Efficient in handling Adobe files / Photoshop/ image editing software.
6. Candidate must have good written/ verbal communication skills in English.

Salary Range: Rs. 18000-1500-45000.
