Applications are invited for the different posts mentioned below in the Institute Works Department at IIT Kanpur.

Name of the Post: Sr. Project Mechanic

Number of Posts: One

Essential Qualification: 3 years Engineering Diploma Or High School + ITI + 5 years of relevant experience of Air Conditioning works in a govt. or high school.

Desirable: The candidate should have Engineering Diploma or ITI in Mechanic and Experience of Air Conditioning Works.

Scale of pay: Rs. 10800-900-27000

Note:

1. All Posts are temporary and on contractual basis for a maximum period of one year or date of expiry of the project whichever is earlier.
2. Candidates who have significant experience and expertise in the relevant area shall be given preference.
3. No TA/DA will be paid by for attending the written test/interview.

IWD office reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualification and experience. Only short-listed candidates will accordingly be called for interview.

The candidates, who will be called for interview, have to show their original certificates, experience certificates etc. at the time of interview.
