Applications are invited for the position “Project Executive Officer” for the project “Information & Media Outreach Cell (IMOC)”.
| Qualifications & Experience Essential |
Ph.D/Masters degree with 8-10 years of experience and expertise as a Social Media Manager in a leading academic institute of India
In-depth understanding of the rules and policies of the SM handles is a must. |
| Desirable |
Minimum 8 year of experience (full time) with the academic institution in the following area: Alumni Cell, website management or social media cell.
He/She shall be responsible for coordinating with the different departments and offices of the institute for the collection of the information.
Relevant knowledge of the Procurement, Tendering and working on the GEM portal. Ability to work long hours and meet deadlines. Project Management knowledge is necessary. |
| Job Profile |
Project Executive Officer has to manage and monitor the SM handles of the institute 24*7. He/She shall be communicating with all the other offices and departments of the institute to collect information, transform it and disseminate it appropriately. He/She will be responsible for maintaining the online reputation of the institute and handling queries and grievances in online communication. Making reports, ppts, and other media-related documents is a part of the job. Designing and development of the campaign in the video and image formats as per the requirement of the institute and the specific social media platforms. Needs to maintain a web portal of the media with regular updates. Cover the institute events on the SM handles. He/She shall be communicating with the outside agencies for the publicity and publishing of the research work of the institute. Shall be communicating and sending reports to the government agencies. |

The post is purely temporary and will be offered for a period of 1 year and renewal on satisfactory performance.
