Application is invited for the post of ‘Senior Project Engineer’ at Centre for Nanosciences, IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year or till the end of project, whichever is earlier. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Essential Qualification and post qualification experience:

B.Tech + M.Tech + Ph.D. (Engg. Stream)

Or

M.Tech + 3 years relevant exp.

Or

B.Tech with M.B.A.+ 3 years relevant exp.

Desirable Qualification:

• Ph.D. (Engg. Stream) candidates will be preferred.
• Applicant must have documented proof of working, handling and maintenance of FESEM, EDX, EBL, Nano Imprint Lithography, Electron Beam Deposition, Reactive Ion Etching, Multi target RF-DC sputtering system, UV-Plasma cleaning, and Glove Box.
• Applicant should be adept in clean room operations, maintenance, and experimental responsibilities.

Scale of pay: Rs. 32400-2700-81000

The institute reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates satisfying qualification and experience. Only shortlisted candidate will be called for interview. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
