Application is invited for the post of ‘Project Engineer’ in Advanced Imaging Centre for, IIT Kanpur. The Post is temporary and on contractual basis for a period of one year. The period may be extended based on performance and requirement.

Essential Qualification: M.Tech with 1 year relevant experience OR B.Tech with MBA + 1 year relevant experience OR B.Tech + 3 year relevant experience.

Desirable Qualification: Strong knowledge of TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope) and SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope). The candidate should also be handy with Maintenance of analytical equipment and should have at least 5 years of relevant experience. He should have strong background on dealing with technological problems and an understanding of promising approaches to their solutions. Good Communication skills. He should have experience on Small/Wide angle x-ray scattering analysis (SAX/WAX), X-Ray Diffraction (XRD).

Scale of pay: Rs. 26400-2200-66000
