It is critical for the protection of the environment that 'Green' technologies are developed. An important component of this theme is the need to develop green energy alternatives, which include: (i) production, (ii) storage and (iii) conversion aspects. Two important areas of this initiative include: (i) making current technologies 'greener' via better efficiency systems and utilization and (ii) developing new technologies for the future
